An expensive morning! $16000 sent off for schooling needs – tuition, uniforms, shoes, text books etc. That’s over 10% of our annual budget and doesn’t even get close to covering scholastic needs for the year ahead. Yikes!

What happens on Father’s Day when you’re dad to a few thousand kids? You wake up early and spend it fundraising of course. Luckily I got a special visit from my two favourites and we raised over $900 for all those kids we help without a dad.
Poverty can be somewhat overwhelming. Millions live life locked deeply in it. But how do we fix it? For us its important to remember we are dealing with individuals who like everyone hold their own aspirations and dreams. Helping one child at a time reach for their stars is such a rewarding and empowering process.
