Heartspring Kenya, Success!

Here’s Juliet, she’s been part of our Kenyan project since 2009 and has just been accepted to study a degree in Teaching at Nairobi University!!!!! We are so proud of you Juliet!!! From when we first met to now…what an incredible journey!
Kamakwies cassava crops are pumping!
Check out our rather impressive Cassava crop in Kamakwie, Sierra Leone. Since fencing our project our crops no longer live in danger of wandering goats 🙂 and can grow freely, meaning more food for the kids 🙂 Kamakwie, Sierra Leone.
New fencing for Tombo, Sierra Leone..
Its taken a good deal of scrimping and saving to get the funds together to fence our projects in Sierra Leone. Finally we’ve managed to secure our Tombo project, keeping our project, staff and children nice and safe. Check that gate out! Nice! Next step might be for some new roofing sheets….

Upcoming Orphfund project, Heartspring Kenya.
In September, one of our long-time volunteers, Alison Dillon, together with a small team, will visit Orphfund’s Heartspring Children’s Village in Kenya. Alison has previously volunteered at Heartspring and also Orphfund’s Sierra Leone Projects.
