The loss of parents makes for a daunting world for millions of orphans. Sadly, in so many cases, those children are often neglected and fall into a desperate life of impossible struggle and poverty. Children frequently drop out of school, have no access to medicine and won’t know where their next meal is coming from. It makes for a bleak and harrowing road ahead.
At I am Someone we reach out to those who have lost everything and are left with no supportive care network.
Our projects are based where the need is greatest. We can be found helping street children living on rubbish tips or at-risk kids in far off remote villages, where support networks rarely exist.
Since 2006 we’ve been working hand in hand with local communities, creating programs that help bring hope and opportunity back into their lives.
