Uganda, storm Damage.

Some bad news from Uganda. On Wednesday a massive storm caused extensive damage to the Kasese Children’s Village. Luckily no-one was injured.

The roof of the girls’ dormitory and the library was lifted up and blown across the compound, over the wall, and across the road.

The force of the wind ripping the roof off has damaged the wall of the building so we will need to repair/replace that as well as the roof. A neighbour’s car was also damaged by the flying roof. Sadly many of the books in the library have been ruined as well.

Please help us meet the cost of these repairs/replacements which have been estimated so far as $3500 AUD.
